Each of the architectures listed has its own specific requirements, applications and points to consider. The most important requirements in the edge segment are often temperature and power consumption, while more processing power plays a more significant role in virtual desktops, i.e., end-user computing. SAP customers tend to focus on a high bandwidth and, even more importantly, RAS topics (reliability, availability, serviceability), making the Power systems a popular choice here.
As well as consultancy and the choice of processor architecture, we support you in sizing, product selection, assembly, implementation, migration and operation. You can get everything from a single source – our Assembling Center – for anything from a small one-port server with hard drives, network and peripherals, to a standardized rollout including the initial installation and configuration of software for more than 100 sites.
Our HPC team is at your side with advice on everything from manufacturer roadmaps and individual instructions on CPUs to the question of whether a GPU would be a better choice for your task. To tackle the challenges of tomorrow, we are working on quantum computing today. Current projects in this field often overlap with our HPC team.
