Identity and Access Management in Hybrid and Multi-cloud Environments
For anyone who uses Microsoft services such as Microsoft 365 or Azure, there is no avoiding Microsoft Entra ID. Formerly known as Azure AD, it forms the basis of safe user authentication in Microsoft SaaS applications and IaaS services, giving companies an efficient way to manage access control and identities.
But there is more to Microsoft Entra ID than just internal user management. For example, it can map typical B2B scenarios (such as collaboration with partner companies or subsidiaries) or B2C use cases with end customers. In addition, with Microsoft Entra ID Governance, Microsoft offers additional features to automate the entire life cycle of employee identities – making recertification processes, compliance and adherence to statutory provisions much simpler.
Consulting, design and implementation
Microsoft Entra ID can ensure your Microsoft cloud environment secure only if it builds upon on a solid foundation. But with such a wide range of functions, company requirements and specifications, this can quickly become a highly complex challenge. The right expertise is needed to take all the aspects of secure identity and access control into account in the appropriate manner. That is where SVA comes in!
We are always on hand to help you implement Entra ID in a way that addresses all of your security needs. We always start by analyzing the technical and organizational maturity of your existing Entra ID environment, and document the results in an initial concept. Next, we hold a workshop with you to go through all the relevant settings for your Entra ID environment, which will form the framework for your infrastructure in future. If you opt for a full-service IAM project, we also implement the defined roles and processes and advise you on the extent to which these can be mapped to Microsoft Entra ID. Upon request, we can also take care of integrating other IAM systems with the Entra ID platform.

Our approach
Step 1: Analysis
If you already have an Entra ID environment in place, we first examine the current state and optimize it as needed. We also review your unique organizational and technical requirements, working with you to decide how best to implement them.
If you do not yet have an Entra ID infrastructure, we start by considering and understanding your technical and organizational requirements. This includes aspects such as roles and permissions, processes, existing identity solutions like the local Active Directory, and more.
Step 2: Concept
We look at the analysis results and turn them into a concept that covers the current situation, challenges, proposed solutions, and recommendations. When doing so, we differentiate between short-term, medium-term and long-term measures. If the analysis clearly shows that your requirements cannot be resolved exclusively with Microsoft Entra ID, we will also include recommendations for additional solutions.
Step 3: Implementation
A coordinated strategy forms the basis for implementation. The aim here is to provide a robust Entra ID environment that you can then ideally maintain without assistance. If you do want support during operation, however, we can offer operational or managed services.
